Your Mission 2011 - FanFiction One Shot Photo Contest!

Your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to write a one shot from the picture below.


Just like last year. I will leave this up until March 17th, 2011. At that point, all submissions will need to be entered. Changes are as follows - this year the rules are;

Length - must be at least 1000 words. There is no limit. However, it can only be one chapter long.

Posting - this year I am asking all entries to post their "shots" on FanFiction.net, and then put the link of it as a comment under this posting.

Judging - I will select the Judges by my connections with other fanfic authors that have not and do not plan to participate in this event. All participants will be judged on story content. Grammar & Spelling will not count against you. This is a contest for imagination only. HOWEVER, you must write the "Shot" based on this photo.

Here are the categories for judging

Creative Expression - 35%

Read-ability - 25% (we have to be able to read it to judge it)

Story Based off Photo - 40%

Please try, even if it’s your first fanfic. I want to see everyone put an effort on.

PS ~ the reason i chose this one ... is because it tells a story all its own and you can go in so many direcitons with it ... plus i think i have captured all of his amazing parts ... the eyes, the jaw, the lips ... and its in the MAC's Photos Shots Page!

UPDATE FOR "YOUR MISSION" WRITING CHALLENGE

I wanted to let everyone know that the contest “Your Mission”, will be closing for entry acceptance on March 31st. If you haven’t entered your one-shot for the Edward "hand in pants" picture (below), please do so before then. You can post your one-shot in the comments section… it has a limit of 4000 characters so about 3000 words, no more, or it won't fit. I will be sending the stories off to be judged on April 1st, (no joke). The judge(s) is a Twilight Addict but not on TD... so her reading will be fair and unbiased. Once she has finished her judging the winner will be announced here and on the Twilight Disorder website, and the awards will be given out. There will be a 1st place prize only, everyone else will receive participation rewards. So after you have posted your one-shot post a 2nd comment with your name and address use your “TD Pen Name” so that I will be able to connect your story to you, and send your prize (should you win). The prize will be posted on the website by the end of the week (3/19).

This picture of, the exquisitely handsome and ruggedly sexy, Rob P. makes me think, he has a secret. And you get to tell us what it is. With only this photo and your imagination to guide you, write us a 1-shot (xxx-lemony) piece about what’s going in this photo that we DON'T see.

It can not be any longer than 4000 characters (with spaces), post your 1-shot to the comments section. besure to include your emial address, the shots will be judged, and the winner will recieve a special Twilight item.
